BOTB mixed things up this week by surprising their Dream Car winner at night time! Already in his jogging pants, an unsuspecting Mark Downton from Hitchin was relaxing in front of the TV when BOTB's very cold Christian knocked on the door. "OH MY GOD – NO WAY!" exclaimed Mark, breaking into a huge smile when he realised he'd won his dream car – a £65,000 Alpina B3 Touring! Mark always plays for the B3 as it's both "practical and exclusive", describing it as the ultimate car for the future!
His wife Lorna was in on the surprise but didn't know that Mark had also won £20,000 cash, so she was just as shocked as her husband when Christian revealed the briefcase of notes in the boot! As it’s National Hugging Day today there were extra hugs all round… and Mark is planning on spreading that happiness further as his first drive will be to see "everyone he’s ever met!" – congratulations Mark!
